Saint Paul’s Parish – A Message From Fr. Wiesław

As it has been announced on numerous occasions, our St. Paul’s Parish moves to a new location. It is the Church of St. Theresa in Powiśle District, Street Tamka 4a. We will celebrate our first Mass there next Sunday, 5th of October at 13:30 (1:30PM). Evening Mass at 19:00 (7:00PM). This is a new timetable and it will be observed until further notice.

RE classes will be taking place at 12:00 noon. Choir practice also at 12:00 noon and 6:00 PM, for the evening Mass.

The Polish Parish of St Theresa is celebrating their annual Parish Feats next Sunday. They invite us all to participate at the Parish Picnic after our First Mass in new place concludes. This is a great opportunity to meet the locals, so please don’t dismiss the invitation.

As everywhere in Warsaw, we will be facing parking issues at the new place, so public transportation is recommended. The church is located 1 min. walking distance from Metro Centrum Kopernik Line B. Literary, opposite the church there is a bus stop of Bus118 ( direction from Mokotów) and Bus 127 (direction from Ursus, Nowe Włochy). Also Bus 162 (direction from Wilanów Area) and Bus N14 (Direction from Dworzec Centralny). Those who travel by cars, the parking is to be found at Wybrzeże Kościuszkowskie or at the underground parking in Centrum Kopernik. This last one is a paid service on Sundays.

A big „Thank You” to all who helped to pack our parish belongings last Thursday. We still need volunteers to pack the stuff on this coming Thursday and Friday. Place come to the church at 12:00 noon.

Altar Servers rehearsal in the new place will be held next Saturday at 1:00 PM. Altar Servers please take your cassocks and surplices home with you today, and bring them to the new place next Saturday.

First Friday Mass will be in this Church at Solidarności at 7:00 PM main church. After the Mass we will take down the St. Paul’s Icon in order to install it in our new home.

Due to the our move there will be no RE (RE) next Sunday. The classes will resume on the 12th of October.
